RALO Bear is a veteran-owned business on a mission to help children rise above life's obstacles through comfort, connection, and emotional support.

We create tools for children ages 3–12, their families, educators, counselors, healthcare professionals, and community organizations that support children's emotional well-being.

Based in Texas and certified as a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) and Veteran-Owned Business, we lead with heart, honesty, and hope. RALO Bear is more than a plush toy—he's a companion, a teaching tool, and a soft reminder that healing is possible.

Our Purpose

RALO Bear was created with a simple purpose:

To help children rise above life's obstacles—one comforting hug, one brave conversation, and one healing moment at a time.

R.A.L.O. stands for Rising Above Life's Obstacles, and every part of RALO's design tells a story of courage, hope, and emotional strength.

Created for children ages 3–12, RALO Bear helps young people understand their feelings, build resilience, and feel safe expressing what's inside.

Why RALO Bear Matters

RALO Bear wears intentional stitched scars—gentle reminders that he's been through hard things too.

Instead of hiding them, he wears them proudly.

His story tells children:

"I've been through hard things too—and I'm still here. You will be okay. You're stronger than you think."

Hello, I'm Janice (Jaye), founder of RALO Bear and a proud U.S. Army veteran.

As a veteran, entrepreneur, and advocate for children's emotional wellness, I created RALO Bear to help children navigate big feelings, build resilience, and know they are never alone.

What started as a simple idea has grown into a mission-driven brand dedicated to helping children rise above life's obstacles through comfort, connection, and emotional support.
